We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for a local insurance carrier. The ideal candidate is highly organized and proficient in Microsoft Office. This is an onsite position that reports directly to the company president.

Job Duties:

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Provide timely responses to emails, voice-mails and written correspondence
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Maintain electronic files
  • Data entry
  • Order office supplies
  • Make travel arrangements
  • Prepare and monitor invoices
  • Receive, sort and distribute mail
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • 5-7 years of administrative experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check

Compensation: 

  • $18-20/hour DOE
