We are seeking a CEO for a testing lab facility. Position will work closely with the President, Customers, Lab Technicians, Lab Analysts and Customer Experience Specialists to ensure optimization of operations and efficiency at the lab.

Job Duties:

  • Provide effective direction over the operation of the lab
  • Work to establish company lab at the forefront of the industry
  • Plan and schedule lab compliance
  • Oversee the quality management system schedule such as SOP’s and the training program
  • Provide oversight of invoicing, facility expenses and fringe benefits
  • Review budgets and manage cash flow
  • Establish and maintain metrics to track critical business processes and ensure expectations are being met.
  • Consider and address any organizational deficiencies.
  • Ensure facilities, equipment, and processes are properly maintained
  • Review employees and direct personnel decisions
  • Ensure projects are successfully completed bases on project requirements
  • Assign projects and direct staff members to ensure compliance and accuracy

Requirements:

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Administration or Business Management preferred
  • BS/BA in Business, Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field
  • 2 years of management experience
  • Cannabis industry experience highly desirable
  • Organized, critical thinker with ability to work in a fast-paced setting, multitask, and prioritize assignments
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with ability to build a strong team
  • Creative, analytical problem-solver who can cooperatively work effectively with colleagues
  • Ability to adapt to rapid changes and utilize newly emergent technological solutions
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
  • Able to travel occasionally through the state, country and possibly international, as-needed
  • Available to work business meetings, trade shows, events and presentations after-hours and weekends when necessary
  • Ability to pass background check including drug screen

Compensation:

  • Salary $90-100K DOE
  • Incentives up to $10K annually
