We are seeking a National Sales and Business Development Manager for a large non-profit organization dedicated to the rights of hunters nationally and internationally. This vital position will be responsible for ad sales in print publications and other media and developing and managing corporate sponsorships. This is a key position that will help drive revenues to support the organization’s mission and provide value to clients. Position is remote with travel as needed.

 

Job Duties:

  • Directly responsible for all aspects of ad sales in print publications and other media
  • Responsible for developing and managing corporate sponsorships
  • Develop and implement strategies that provide revenues for support of mission operations
  • Monitor, encourage and enforce compliance with chapter requirements
  • Manages two Advertising Account Executives and one Advertising Coordinator
  • Build, monitor, and manage the department budget
  • Support the responsibilities of the Communications Committee
  • Travel as needed for meetings, conferences, etc.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, business, advertising, or a related field including print and digital ad sales experience in the outdoor industry
  • Experience working in a nonprofit membership organization is a plus
  • Proven experience remotely supervising and managing a sales staff
  • Advanced Excel, Word & Powerpoint skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Logical and analytical thinker
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong drive and self-motivation
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

 

Compensation:

Base salary ($60-80K DOE) plus commission with unlimited earnings potential
