We are seeking a Payroll Manager for a professional services firm. Strong payroll and customer service experience required. This position oversees, implements, and maintains payroll systems, procedures, and policies. Position is on on-site.

Job Duties:

  • Consult with clients on payroll process and HR issues
  • Communicate with clients frequently to obtain payroll data
  • Research and resolve payroll-related questions
  • Maintain high rate of client retention through superior customer service
  • Special projects
  • Stay current on compliance issues

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of payroll experience
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word, plus ability to learn new programs
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and analytical
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Stable work history, good professional references, and ability to pass a background check.

Compensation:

  • $21-22/hour DOE
