We are seeking an onsite Software Support Specialist for a growing software company. This is a staff position within the IT support group accountable for ensuring continuity of computer application services for users by providing remote technical expertise and assistance necessary to operate company software products.
- Assure continuity of the computer application for all system users.
- Assist with the configuration/installation of company software and related hardware products.
- Troubleshoot and suggest information about other products and services.
- Update account information.
- Resolve product or services issues by:
- Clarify the complaint
- Create a ticket
- Determine problem cause
- Explain best solution
- Expedite correction or adjustment
- Follow up to ensure resolution
- Escalate issue if needed
- Stay up to date on new company software and updates
- Associate’s degree preferred
- 1 or more years of experience
- Technical capacity/experience
- Web-based software applications
- Document Configuration and editing – Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word
- Computer hardware and peripherals including:
- Signature Pads, etc.
- Organizational Skills
- Strong customer service/client focus skills
- Problem Solving/Analytical ability
- Pay Rate: $30-45K+ DOE
