We are seeking an onsite Software Support Specialist for a growing software company. This is a staff position within the IT support group accountable for ensuring continuity of computer application services for users by providing remote technical expertise and assistance necessary to operate company software products.

Job Duties:

  • Assure continuity of the computer application for all system users.
  • Assist with the configuration/installation of company software and related hardware products.
  • Troubleshoot and suggest information about other products and services.
  • Update account information.
  • Resolve product or services issues by:
    • Clarify the complaint
    • Create a ticket
    • Determine problem cause
    • Explain best solution
    • Expedite correction or adjustment
    • Follow up to ensure resolution
    • Escalate issue if needed
  • Stay up to date on new company software and updates

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • 1 or more years of experience
  • Technical capacity/experience
    • Web-based software applications
    • Document Configuration and editing – Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word
  • Computer hardware and peripherals including:
    • Scanners
    • Printers
    • Signature Pads, etc.
  • Organizational Skills
  • Strong customer service/client focus skills
  • Initiative
  • Problem Solving/Analytical ability

Compensation:

  • Pay Rate: $30-45K+ DOE
  • Medical/Dental/Vision and disability insurance
  • 401K
